Another Day Of Life..
10 January 2009.
Yesterday had the cca carnival. Well, performed for the sec 1s CB1, the whole thing.. Then after that, went to our booth and grab members.. Then grab alot la.. (: Then later part of that day got band. Then got a trombone instructor called mr kok came and teach us.. o.O his teaching is superb ii must say, our section's sound already improve already.. and ii really thank him for opening up my tuning slide as that slide has been stuck for like ages and smoothen my position slide.. haha.. He's seriously a damn good instructor la.. Haha.. Then heard that he only comes 2 times a month.. Well, its good enough already.. I guess.. (:
So after band, got briefing for concert's for later.. Then after that, cabb-ed home with yu shen and kelvin.. Then reach home already, quickly get a shower, pack bag and everything.. Then leave house.. Then took mrt down to bedok inter.. Then saw band members there liao and wait for every1 to come. Then mrt-ed down to bugis and then reach the NAFA theatre.. Then get the ticket and went in and wait for the concert to start..
The concert starts already.. Btw, its a brass concert, there's no woowinds. Then the first few songs.. The trombone was very nice. They push in alot of air into each and every note and create that full sound.. Seriously la.. There's also trombone solo on the doraemon theme.. Then the player is very good in running notes.. And the bass trombone also had abit of solo also.. (: Then there's tuba soloist piece.. And the tubist can pitch very high and very low..!! Haha.. its a very good concert ii must say..! (: So after that, take mrt down to bedok.. Then take bus 854.. Reach home around 11.22.17p.m.. (:
