Alumni Heartstrings Day 1 - SUCCESS! :D

I'm very elated that Alumni Heartstrings Day 1 was a S.U.C.C.E.S.S. All thanks to the Alumni Team that came down and to make today's event a successful one. I myself also enjoyed the games with Sec 1s. Especially on Whacko & Capture The Flag. From there, the alumnus & the sec 1s are able to bond with one another much easily. (: Despite it's just a number of 14 sec 1s but we managed to make them enjoy the games that we had planned for them. (:

After the games was the STOMP practice session and i tell you, despite them being just Sec 1s, within them there's a leader and the leader is very strong. He managed to gather his fellow mates and do the STOMP performance together from scratch, creating new beats. Me and the alumnus were quite impressed at that point of them. Despite them being such rowdy sec 1s but still, when it comes to STOMP, they are very united and cooperative. A rare side of an Ping Yian indeed! :O

After STOMP practice session, we bus-ed down to Bugis + for lunch. In the journey, Andy managed to entertained us with his ghost stories in TP & PY. When i heard those stories, i kinda got goosebumps though. HAHAHA! But it's seriously a good thrill feeling. :P

Had lunch at The Manhattan Fish Market. I sat with majority of the sec 1s along with Junior. As i sat nearer to the ladies and i started to strike conversations with them. :P We ate and chat at the same time which really made the lunch very enjoyable. :D & today i managed to learn something. Siew Kui is the classmates of Nanz & Melody. I was literally shocked. >.> Small world indeed and she told me some info about Nanz which was music to my ears. :P We started to talk about horny stuffs and yeah, totally like Nanz sia. Gosh. But heh, i'm glad meeting every single one of them. Oh ya, we had ice cream for desserts too! :D

After everything, we took a photo and then the alumnus and ms Toh see the sec 1s off the bus. :P We keep waving non-stop la. :/ Within such a short interaction, we managed to become so close. It was definitely unbelievable. :D From Bugis +, we went to walk walk around Arab street and window shop. All the items are expensive though. >.> From Arab street we jumped to Bugis street and from there we moved to orchard.

At orchard, we then know that today was a day that if you are proposing, you'll get a free heart shaped balloon. Kinda romantic though. Also, we managed to saw a guy proposed to his girlfriend in the middle of orchard road. It's was really something la. Hope the couple will be happy as long as they lives. :D We continue to walk around and yeah.. in the end, slacked at Starbucks for awhile to rest our aching legs. From there we deparated and went our separate ways.

Even though today was the Band BBQ, i didn't attend it as i have the heartstrings event going on. But still, meet up with Eelim and gang and we have dinner together. From there, slack awhile and we went home. :D
