22nd September 2012 - One hell of a day i will never forget.

The 2nd Saturday with the Heartstrings Participants. It seems that the Sec 1s are enjoying the Alumnus presence as they almost wanted to stay back very late for the rehearsals before today comes. Hahaha, so much different from our batch of Sec 1s. Did rehearsals with the Sec 1s Stomp performers and the Alumnus performers as well. Well, both teams have indeed improved a lot since the starting of their practice. Heh. I really enjoyed myself conducting the 2 teams. :3 Make me feel so.. professional. xD

We walk to the senior activity center and yeah, we kicked start the event with the Sec 1 stomp percussion! Haha, the elderly seems to be enjoying their beats though. (: The alumnus stomp percussion wasn't too bad as well as i managed to get them to clap their hands in the midst of the performance. Hahaha! So much fun conducting as well. I can feel the energy from the music. After that is Junior's performance. He sang for us 3 songs! Yesterday by the Beatles, Sunday Morning by Maroon 5 & We Will Rock You By the Queen for the encore as the elderly wanted something more lively. :3 We also sang Chan Mali Chan, If You're Happy & You Know It. Just to entertain them. (:

After the performances, we tried to interact with the elderly. The sec 1s passed the stomp equipment to some of the elderly and they seems to be enjoying to play the beats especially just now when we're singing We Will Rock You. :D So much fun and so much energy! Presto! Heh. After that, we dance and gotten ourselves very very high. (: So high that we did an encore for our stomp performances. It's really fun conducting the 2 teams la. :P But the 2nd time performance was a lot better. (: After that, it's time to zhao back already so packed up. Took a group photo and we went back to school.

At school, keep the instruments and we de-brief them. Hmm, kinda sad though. Just within 2 weeks of interaction, we managed to get the Sec 1s to be so bonded with one another and also with the Alumnus. This shows that our heartstrings is indeed connecting people. Parting always hurts but still, they are all a lovely wonderful batch of people. Hope to meet them all again if there's a chance. (: Wanted to play games together after the Old Folks but Mr Chan don't allow as their exams are coming. I hope they could understand that though. :/ The photos and stomp percussion will be memories to us and them then. :')

After the event, went to have lunch with the Alumnus and surprisingly, Siew Kui joined us as well. (: Hahaha, we ate at Mr Teh Tarik. :3 After that, just keep talking and we went to Bedok Point and discuss about the Chalet. I hope it will work out though as i want to have a chalet of Team W.L.O & Bodohclan together. After that, we went to one empty area and play some games together? (: Bonding time.. after that, went home.

Nap for 2.5 hours, went out again for badminton. Played 5 straight games though and my right arm is still aching. >.> After that, had supper and yeah. Went home. :D

I really enjoyed myself a lot within this week and last week. The Sec 1s are indeed a wonderful bunch of people. Together with the team of Alumnus, we really achieved a lot during the 2 Saturdays. Haha, after all, i hope the Sec 1s will keep in contact with their Heartstrings friends and yeah. Let the friendship continue to blossom. (: Next event - School Carnival!
